Course fees

Course fees are dependant on the study mode you enrol in (either classroom or online) and whether you’re entitled to government subsidies. Use our fees guide below to determine which course fee category you’re eligible for.

First, use our Enquiry Form to connect with our Student Support Team to discuss your course options.

Once you are confident in your course, study mode, and payment options, we’ll send you our Nationally Recognised Training (NRT) Application Form to complete. 

You’ll need to have copies of your Identification documents, USI, and Visa entitlements (if applicable).  

Course fees are determined by course fee category such as Government Subsidy eligibility or Full Fee (see above) and the study mode (classroom or online). 

Each course will have their fees listed on the course page, under “Course Information” and then “Course Fees and Payment Options”.

  • Skilled – Work Regional (subclass 491)
  • Skilled – Regional (Provisional) Visa (subclass 489)
  • Skilled Employer Sponsored Regional (subclass 494)
  • Business Innovation and Investment (Provisional) Visa, subclass 188
  • Safe Haven Enterprise Visa (SHEV), subclass 790
  • Bridging Visa A, subclass 010*
  • Bridging Visa E (BE), subclass 050 and 051*
  • Temporary Protection Visa (TPV), subclass 785*
  • Bridging Visa F (BVF), subclass 060*
  • Partner Visa (Temporary), subclass 820 and 309
  • Temporary Humanitarian Stay visa (subclass 449)
  • Temporary Humanitarian Concern (THC) visa (Subclass 786)

*Individuals on bridging visas are only eligible where they are waiting on the outcome of an application for a permanent visa or one of the temporary visas listed above.

Visa holders with the following repealed provisional visas are also eligible for subsidised training:

  • Skilled – Regional (Provisional) Visa (subclass 489)
  • Skilled – Regional Sponsored Visa (subclass 475)
  • Skilled – Regional Sponsored Visa (subclass 487)
  • Skilled Independent – Regional (Provisional) Visa (subclass 495)
  • Regional Sponsored Migration Scheme (Permanent) Visa (subclass 187)
  • Senior Executive (Provisional) Visa (subclass 161)
  • Investor (Provisional) Visa (subclass 162)
  • State/Territory Sponsored Business Owner (Provisional) Visa, subclass 163
  • State/Territory Sponsored Senior Executive (Provisional) Visa, subclass 164
  • State/Territory Sponsored Investor (Provisional) Visa, subclass 165

To check any work or study entitlement conditions attached to your visa, visit the Australian Government’s Visa Entitlement Verification Online service.

Students on eligible Visas are required to provide a copy of their Visa and entitlement conditions during the enrolment process. 

If your Visa does not appear on this list, unfortunately, you will be unable to enrol in accredited training. 

Direct Payment Instalments

Academy IT offers direct payment instalments over a 3-month period. The first payment will be due at the time of enrolment.

Study-Now-Pay-Later and Student Loans

Academy IT has partnered with ZeeFi to offer Study-Now-Pay-Later options or Student Loans for flexible options to pay your course fees through affordable payment plans that align with your pay cycle. Eligibility criteria apply. Please visit ZeeFi for more information.

Use our Enquiry Form to connect with our Student Support Team and we’ll discuss the best option to suit your circumstances. 

Once your enrolment is complete, you will be given access to our Student Portal. You will need a suitable device such as a laptop or PC and internet to access the Student Portal.

Our online courses are accessible 24/7, and you’ll have regular check-ins with instructors, access to our Student Support Portal, and scheduled collaborative study sessions with fellow students. 

You will complete coursework online and submit assignments through the online portal. Our instructors will track your progress and mark assignments to determine your grade. 

Once you have finished the course and passed successfully, you will be issued your nationally accredited qualification. 

Some courses may have recommended or mandatory prerequisites. This information can be found on the course page, under “Course Information” and then “Entry Requirements and Prerequisites”.

If you are enrolling in a government-subsidised course, you will also need to complete an Upfront Assessment of Need (UAN).

The UAN will determine whether you will need additional support to help you complete your course. Requiring additional support will not affect your eligibility to enroll or your eligibility for government subsidies. Students requiring additional support will be allocated a government-funded Learner Support Services (LSS) provider. There will be no additional cost to the student to access Learner Support Services. 

Once your enrolment is complete, you will be given access to our Student Portal. You will need a suitable device such as a laptop or PC and internet to access the Student Portal.

If you are completing classroom-based study at our Adelaide CBD training centre, computers and internet access are supplied. 

When you enrol in accredited training, you’re entering into a training agreement. If you do not meet your payment requirements within this agreement, your training account may be suspended. 

You must contact us immediately if you are having issues with making payments. 

Yes, you can enrol in multiple courses at one time however, it is important to understand your study schedule and allocate the minimum hours per week necessary to complete your course on time. 

If you are enrolling in government-subsidised courses, course limits apply. You will need to check your eligibility using the Eligibility Calculator. 

If you are unable to attend our Adelaide CBD training centre in-person during the scheduled class times, online study is the option for you!
